A 1:1000 scale model of the Apex Centre in Milton Keynes. The model shows the exterior of what is likely to be the area directly to the west of Junction 14 of the M1. There is an elevated central roundabout, surrounded on three sides by a water feature [River Great Ouse?]. A circular road runs below the roundabout, giving access to six commercial buildings, two of which are of notable design: a transparent cylinder and a small building with curved transparent sides.
Trees line this road and are present throughout the model. Adjacent to the motorway junction is a heliport, with two model helicopters. There is also a grass runway. Opposite the heliport, where Milton Keynes Coachway is now located, is what appears to be parkland with trails laid out, beyond which the buildings of Broughton are shown.
On the other side of the roundabout there is a lorry park with many model vehicles parked and a small building. There are also model cars throughout.
