To the north of the model there are many residential buildings comprising Simpson. There is a large industrial/commercial unit adjacent to Bow Brickhill railway station.
There are trees throughout and extensive parkland surrounding the lake. There are also model cars, lorries, boats and a train present.

This model was based on my drawings for the the lake. The engineering plans created by Digby Woods were aligned 100% with the landscape architectural plans. At that time I was the project landscape architect from concept through to flooding working closely with Digby. If anyone wants the original hand drawn concepts and plans I still have them somewhere.
