Collection of architectural drawings, urban plans, detailed technical drawings, photographs and files on Milton Keynes and other locations. John Seed (d.2011) was an architect for Milton Keynes Development Corporation between 1971 and 1985. During this time he was responsible for the structure planning and urban design of seven residential grid squares of the new city as well as the development and conservation plans for three existing villages. He was also project architect for two local centres and for low energy passive solar housing.
The collection has been arranged into nine series imposed by the Archivist. The series are based on geographical area and period or subject of the contents:
