John Csáky moved to Milton Keynes Development Corporation in 1971 and stayed until 1981. Previously he studied sculpture and painting at the Portsmouth School of Art, and then Environmental Media at the Royal College of Art. Two main projects that Csáky designed in Milton Keynes were The Bowl, which he also ran as a venue for three years, and the four Loughton Lakes.
Following completion of The Bowl, Csáky was the events programme co-ordinator for three years (30 events). He lived with his wife Iryna, and their two daughters in Windmill Cottage, New Bradwell. John Csáky died in April 2007.
